Qriginally published on the newly launched TIME WARNER ELECTRONIC website, PATHFINDER / ARTSLINK in 1996 by MR.SUMIN CHOU this work was further evolved and accepted into the 1998 SIXTH ANNUAL DIGITAL SALON @ the VISUAL ARTS MUSEUM in NYC.It was recently installed, in part, at the MATTRESS FACTORY MUSEUM in PITTSBURGH as an installation in 2005/06.

Opening in November of 1998 it went on tour as part of that exhibition and in 1999 traveled to venues in Madrid, Barcelona, and Alecante, Spain as well as Milan, Italy and Lisbon, Portugal. It was published in LEONARDO VOLUME 31, NO.5, MIT PRESS.

This work was a formative experience in a transition from traditional media to digital media. The PALACE owes a certain debt, PEDRO MEYER, who, through his work and having worked with him personally, shed considerable light on how to navigate through a new terrain.

The project is currently undergoing a third revision moving toward a more interactive piece with sound and motion video. The possibility of having it published as a book is also being explored.
